bodywork

Bodywork is a key element in the work of evolving the self to your truest form. Layers of restrictions have been created by hardship or disease. We can peel back those layers that are deep within, exposing who you are instead of what has happened to you.

Craniosacral therapy can facilitate the release of our stuff, our baggage, the parts of ourselves that get in our own way. It is truly an adventure in self-healing. Join me on this physical, somatic, energetic, personal, and spiritual adventure in self-healing that is craniosacral therapy.

Craniosacral therapy bodywork: totally legitimate, absolutely no sex.

Craniosacral therapy

Craniosacral therapy is rooted in the system of fascia containing the brain and spinal cord. It is mechanical and energetic manipulation of fascia, fluids, and other soft tissue in the entire body using light touch. The light touch enables us to connect without the body feeling violated and becoming tense. By working through the body’s own healing mechanisms, we facilitate release of trauma and energy. Clients usually experience deep relaxation. As Dr. John Upledger, the developer of CranioSacral Therapy said, “The secret something that is shared by all effective healing methods is the process of leading the patient to an honest and truthful self-discovery. This self-discovery is required for the initiation and continuation of self-healing; for it is only through self-healing- in contrast to curing- that patients can experience both permanent recovery and spiritual growth…the closer our perception of self approaches, the deeper our capacity for self-healing becomes. When there is a very close correspondence between self-image and truth, our self-healing powers may be virtually unlimited.”
